50 states

A single-elimination tournament AKA "Knockout" is played in each of all USA states and AFRICAN countries where teams are eliminated after loosing one game, and game winners continue to play until all but one team have been eliminated. This single remaining team is the winner of the tournament in its respective state or country. Then, the 50 winning teams in both African and US continent are moving to the second round for another Knockout.

In each continent, all winning team per state will compete during the 2nd round for another "Knockout" where the looser of each match-up is eliminated definitely from the tournament. Each winner will play another in the next round until the final match-up, whose winners (one winning team for the USA and another one for the African continent) will become the last two selected teams to move on to the GRAND FINALE...

...finally the two remaining finalists (the American team and the African team) will represent their respective continent during the final match which will oppose them. At the end of this match the winner will go home with the prestigious GOLDEN TROPHY OF THE 2026 USA-AFRICA WORLD BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

The total prize pool for this tournament is $270,000 which will be split as follow:
